2. SABRE: It foretells which Lands shall be touched and which shall
not.
3. SABRE: Which Lands shall live and which shall die.
THREE:
On SABRE. Aglow with the excitement of the find, fully aware of what it portends.
4. SABRE: This is a map of the future.
That is really frikkin’ cool.
Wow, talk about having a great responsibility… Think of the lives she could save with that information!
I think what Payne had in mind was more along the lines of “think of the real-estate I could buy…”

I like her expression in the 3rd panel. One can really see her excitement.

I love that Drum’s default expression is “modest bemusement”.
Someday, long in the future, he’s going to be laying in a pine box with that expression on his face. Like he’s just figured out the whole thing, and he just can’t wait to tell us the punch-line.
I miss a few days worth of strips and I return to some serious awesomeness. What an excellent twist – I can’t wait to find out how she hopes to benefit from this info!
