DRAKE and DRUM opening fire on the OCTOPION.
Their weapons are useless. (I’ve always wanted to write that line.)

I love the layouts
This is madness, awesome madness!
Awesomesauce !
…aaaand I see a “CURSES! Foiled again!” followed by a suitably hasty “exit, stage left” coming up in 3… 2… 1… 😉
Drake’s bounding over the Octopion like that makes me suspect that when he and Lady Sabre finally meet, Rick will really get to cut loose visually during the action sequences.
wondered when someone was going to go for the “head”, ie Payne.
looks like a claw gets Drake’s coattail and he gets lifted a bit, but shucks loose and fires at Payne, hitting one of the controls.
but my eyes aren’t what they once were.
I completely thought Payne was shot until I checked the script below. Great fight scene. The first panel reminds me of Frank Miller (wait, is that not a compliment anymore?) I like how the guy sneaking up on Drum gets taken out by his own side.
