DAY 2
SCREEN 1
ONE
Looking at DRAKE and DRUM, as they stand on deck, taking in the crowds. Both are still. PEOPLE are milling around, making their way.
1. TAILLESS: Pressure one-eighty!
2. TAILLESS: One-eighty!
3. TAILLESS: Stand-by, clear all moorings!
TWO:
Leone shot, tight on DRAKE’S EYES.
4. TAILLESS: Aye-aye, all moorings clear!
THREE:
DRAKE and DRUM moving in separate directions, away from one another, searching the crowds.
5. TAILLESS/small: Tickets, please! Present your tickets…
I just wanted to say how much I love the addition of the scripts. It’s interesting and eye opening to see both the writing and the art side by side. I also wanted to comment on how much detail Rick puts in art. Every panel feels like a snapshot or a movie still with characters in the background honestly going about their own lives. I just found it awfully observant and smart.
They are still in shadows :O
This adventure continues to be one of my favorite parts about Mondays (the other being nothing has gone wrong yet this week); I enjoyed chapter one and I’m thrilled to see where chapter two goes!
Superb! I love all the different passengers, they seem like people all in the midst of their own individual adventures. The guy on the far left in particular.
Drake and Drum seem like either bad guys or bad asses…bounty hunters perhaps???
The soldier in the pith helmet and jodpurs(sp?)? Nah, he’s coming off R&R.
It’s funny, because I’ve had to scrub the scripts before posting in order to keep some suspense, ie, who Drake and Drum exactly are. You’ll see in another couple days – Day 5, I think.
Leone shot. Love it. Eyes like Lee Van Cleef in “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”.
That little old lady looks like she’s about to stab somebody with her umbrella.
[Sergio] Leone shot…. Okay. With Google’s help, I get what that means now. 🙂
